Chalimah Jeanne is a Naturopath, Nutritionist and Medical Herbalist with over 6 years professional and clinical experience. Chalimah practices at the Vita Centre, an integrative medical centre, in Edgecliff. Integrative Medicine is a powerful combination of conventional medicine and natural medicine that uses a holistic, preventative approach to empower individuals to achieve and maintain wellness. Since 2005 she has worked and practiced alongside medical practitioners and other allied health practitioners, thus giving her a unique understanding of how to integrate conventional medicine together with natural therapies to best enhance your total quality of life.

Consultations

Initial Consult: Your first visit can take up to 1 hour and will include a comprehensive assessment of your health. I take this time to gain a clear understanding of your current set of symptoms, as well as your overall health by identifying any health risks and gathering information on your personal and family medical history. As it is a holistic form of therapy, you may also be asked for details on your typical diet, daily activities, general lifestyle, as well as your mental, emotional and social environments. Other diagnostic tests or referral to a GP may be required to complete the assessment. Then I provide you with an initial treatment plan including a range of nutritional, preventative and restorative lifestyle measures to best help you reach your health goals. I am a strong believer that good eating habits are the foundation of health, as such dietary intervention is always a key component of my therapeutic approach. Where appropriate a herbal remedy may also be prepared for you.

Follow-up Consults: Your follow-up consultation is typically 2-4 weeks after your initial consult, and usually takes 15- 45 mins. During this time we discuss the progress of your treatment, any changes that have occurred, and the best ways to further promote your health. From here I maintain and monitor your condition as needed and will continue to inform and empower you throughout your healing process.

Acute Consults: As well as treating more chronic conditions, Chalimah is experienced in supporting individuals reduce the severity and shorten the duration of acute conditions such as infections, colds & flues. Acute consultations are typically 15-45mins.

Naturopathy  - Please allow 1hour for your first consultation. The initial visit may  include  VLA, Iridology,  zinc and indican testing.

Health Fund Rebates

Chalimah Jeanne is a registered provider with all major health funds. Most private health funds provide rebates for Naturopathy. Rebates will vary depending on your health fund and level of cover.  Please contact your health fund to determine your eligibility for a rebate.
