How does the test work

The LISTEN computer uses the same technology to read the body’s electrical energy as an ECG machine.  The readings are taken from the fingers and feet instead of from the chest.

Over thirty years ago a German doctor (Dr. Voll) plotted the energy of the acupuncture points on the fingers and goes of his patients and realised that the Chinese system of meridians was correct and that readings taken from the hands and feet reflected what was going on inside the body.  Dr. Voll also added some meridians of his own.

A number of devices were developed in Germany and other countries to measure these energy patterns and soon it was realised that certain substances would change the energy readings if they were included in the circuit connected to the patient.  Most importantly it was realised that some of these substances would be of great use to the patient if they could bring their energy back to normal.

The original systems were limited in the number of substances that could be carried for testing.  In view of this an American computer expert named James Hoyt Clark was given the task some 15 years ago of constructing a computerised device that would enable a great number of items to be tested simultaneously allowing the operator to easily determine which were the important ones for the patient.

Thus, if a patient is suffering an infection with a powerful germ, the pattern of that germ will be strong within the patient’s own electrical signal.  Then when the operator adds the pattern of a group of germs to the patient’s energy signal (via the computer programme), there may be a strong reaction from one particular germ pattern in the group because the sum of its pattern in the test signal and its pattern within the patient is great than all the others.

Similarly, if a person is overloaded with a particular poison or dietary substance, then the computer can identify this using the same process.

The other remarkable thing that the LISTEN computer can do is to general safe yet powerful “energy” (rather than chemical) medicines to eliminate the germs, poisons and sensitivities found.

Accuracy of the LISTEN Test

The EDS program is a screening program and simply tells if, for example, a vitamin or hormone is within the normal range or not.  If an exact value is required the test can be performed on blood or urine at the nearest Pathology Collection Centre.  All that is required is a referral by your doctor and the cost is minimal.

However, when it comes to Candida or other pathogenic parasites that are responsible for most digestive problems and food allergies, EDS is preferable to pathology testing as the collection of a stool specimen is an unpleasant experience and the results are unreliable.  Antibody testing on blood for various parasites is also inaccurate.

The great value of EDS testing is that hundreds of parameters can be scanned in a short time, thus saving hundreds of dollars and months of time waiting for lab results.  Consequently, we find the results to be very accurate especially when taken in conjunction with the standard parameter blood tests.
